10/26/2024 Tree Planting Salmon Habitat Restoration in Woodinville!

Volunteer with Mid Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group on the King County Parks-owned West Sammamish River Trail in Woodinville to restore Chinook, Coho, and Sockeye salmon habitat!

This will be the first planting event of the season! 500 new native plants were recently delivered to the restoraiton site and are ready to get in the groud! Our event time will be divided in to two tasks – planting trees and shrubs and clearing invasive Himalayan Blackberry from the river’s shoreline to open space for planting at the next event.

Upon signing up you will receive a confirmation email from VolunteerMatch. Mid Sound’s Stewardship Coordinator, Molly, will send a reminder email with event details and the youth wavier the Wednesday before the event.

**If you are under 18 and attending without a parent or guardian, please also print and fill out the Youth Waiver Form attached to the Wednesday reminder email and bring it with you to the event!**
