Join Mid Sound and partners on a very special field trip to the recently restored part of ƛ̕ax̌ʷadis Park. This is the SECOND special once-a-quarter opportunity to experience part of the park that is normally off-limits to human visitors. We’ll get down off the boardwalk onto the peninsula to make sure newly planted native species aren’t overgrown with reed canary grass and other invasive plants.

The event will begin with a brief discussion that includes information about the site, the partnering organizations, why this work is important, tool use, and safety. We will provide work gloves, all instructions, and all tools. Please plan to arrive on time for the start of the event and allow extra time to find parking.

Everyone is welcome, but anyone 16 or 17 years old attending without an adult needs to fill out and bring the attached Youth Waiver to the event. Anyone under the age of 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult. Thank you!
